Madison Union Wayfinding

Madison Union is the central building on James Madison University’s campus that houses student run organizations, the post office, lounges and much more. I was tasked with designing directional signage for one of the stairwells that follows the branding of the MU Building that is currently implemented.

Madison Union at James Madison University houses student lounges, a movie theater, free pool tables, a meditation room, bank, post office, eateries and more. As a designer working at Technology and Design on campus, I created a wayfinding system for the stairwells in the building. This system utilizes a large number for each floor and lists out each room you can find on that level. (2017)
